So then I got this idea that I'd ask all my friends who I knew nothing about to maybe wave hello and introduce themselves (if they haven't already) when I got my 200th friend. This wouldn't take long, because I get new friends all the time, with the useless blobs being what they are and my cool funny self being so, uh, attractive to people who don't meet me in real life. I'd wait until someone added me, then I'd add them, and bingo, friend land!
So I waited. And waited. and waited... I don't think I've gone this long without having someone new add me since I opened this thing, it was like torture. And I would not break and do this post at 199, no no, and I would not break and go find a friend myself, no no. Although I frequently find friends myself, this would be cheating.
Well, guess what? Tonight I checked in to find that scryer added me! Yay, another random person I don't know, my 200th friend!
Only the funny thing was, he's not a random person I don't know. He's actually a very good friend of, well, the Girl Behind Spacefem. I met him this summer through peacegood, he was in the bowling league and hung out with us all the time, it's just that he only got to livejournal now.
It's a small world, isn't it? So welcome scryer to livejournal. I was his #3 friend, and he was my #200.
While you're at it, say hello to belgand, echthroix, fairyring, fire_hazzard, japhy134, peacegood, tabloidscully, and pres589. I knew them all in the real world before I knew them on livejournal. They're my connections to the "outside", the crazy world that isn't spacefem.com. They know me here. They know me there. I keep my two lives somewhat private, for those of you who don't know, not very many people I meet on the road get to hear that I might be spacefem. And not many of you know my real name, you could find it if you looked (of course), but I certainly don't lead anyone to it.
And finally, if you're reading this from your friends page, and don't feel like I know you here or there, feel free to say hello :) There are only 200 of you, you're still pretty unique, I'd hate to forget that. Hell, when you really look at it there are only 185, since 15 of my friends are communities. Let's not argue details here, alright?
End Point: Thanks for reading, I love you all!
