crash friday strikes again

last friday I get home from work to an empty house. marc was playing a show up in emporia and staying the night, and he'd taken the girls to spend the night at his parents house. so it was just me and I could do anything I wanted. here's what I did.

- Turned on Netflix and decided to watch The Aviator
- Ate all the mexican takeout leftovers in our fridge
- Poured a glass of wine and took the bag of chocolate chips with me just for good measure. the evening's selection: bota box redvolution... which yes is from a box but let me tell you it's the shit
- Passed out on the couch for about an hour
- Woke up, leonardo dicaprio was way crazier
- Decided to leave the house. Took the dog for a nice walk around the neighborhood
- Got home, was hot from the walk so I went to the basement and putzed around on the internet since my desktop is down there and it's always cold
- Took a bath
- Finished a book... The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett, it was delightful
- Went to sleep around 11
- Woke up around 5am
- Turned on a podcast to play on my phone, rolled over, dozed in and out and listened to podcasts until around 7
- Got up to do Saturday stuff... I had a Toastmasters leadership training to get to, ending my totally selfish reign of independence

I party like a rockstar.

Sounds amazing actually :)

Also Terry Pratchett, my favourite author. Enjoy the rest of the books!
