She is 25" long (30th percentile), 16 lbs 12 oz (64th percentile), and has a 16" head (16th percentile)... I have no idea what Josie's percentiles are to compare, so I don't know why Olive's head is so small. Maybe if he'd measured around her cheeks she'd do better?
But she's doing everything she's supposed to be doing. She's good at grabbing her toys and trying to eat them. Not crawling yet but she's good at pushing up, rolling everywhere, turning in circles to see what she wants and ooching backwards. We keep finding her wedged under chairs and tables, which motivates us to dust. then again why dust when your baby does it?
we like how she can scrunch up her face when she smiles, at the inside corners of her eyes, it's cute. we also like her fuzzy head.
her eyes are still blue! how'd that happen? she's so much lighter than josie, and what little hair she has looks lighter too.
she went through a bit of a sleep regression at 24 weeks, but is now for the most part back to sleeping all night. daylight savings time was a bitch but before that she'd usually sleep until at least 4 or 5 am. Sometimes she sleeps later than that, but only on days when I have to go to work, so I have to get her up at 6:15 to feed her before I leave. On weekends, she never chooses to sleep in. It's like she knows. Bummer.
We've given her some real people food, just a little, nothing spooned out of jars yet but she's had lots of things to eat in her little "feed bag" and when we've got things she can handle, we let her play. she's had asparagus, broccoli, several fruits, potatoes. She has no teeth yet.
Healthy, sturdy, cute little girl. Happy half birthday!
