my family

I haven't posted enough pictures lately, here's this one:

Josie, age 3, who just woke up after a hard night of partying for her aunt's 30th birthday. She even had paint on her.

Olive, age two months. Her hobbies include laying around, kicking her legs, staring at people who are talking. That's mostly all she wants to be happy - people's voices, and a warm chest to curl up on to go to sleep. Current size: 11 pounds, 12 ounces, up from 6 pounds 3 oz at birth... girl is growning!

Marc, in his NO DANCING shirt. He designed that one himself, sort of an inside joke based on his club DJing experience. This happened all the time... there would be a floor packed with people dancing, but without fail some drunk asshole would come yell at him"DUDE THIS MUSIC SUCKS WHEN YOU GONNA PLAY SOMETHING WE CAN ACTUALLY DANCE TO?"

And he'd reply, "Do you think I'm here to play dance music? Hell no, I hate dancing, there's no dancing in this club." And the drunk asshole would mutter something about bullshit and make his way back to the bar, through the crowd of people dancing.

Here we are in my sister's guest room after sleeping all night in the same tiny room, Marc and I on the full size bed, Josie on a crib mattress on the floor, and Olive in her little cosleeper setup. We woke up together, laid around while others were waking up downstairs, played and looked like this.

ROFL. If I had known (of) Marc back when we got married, I would have made him come up here and DJ for us. All the way.

Your family is gorgeous. I wish I could visit and let Olive sleep on my chest.

I can tell exactly what Josie is going to look like when she's 23. She's going to be a heartbreaker!
