No, I'm not going to see Star Wars at midnight.

At this very instant I'm kind of depressed about it, but I really haven't been until now. Factors contributing to my not seeing it:

1) No one to go with (not that I looked hard, but most coworker friends are waiting until tomorrow at least).
2) Promised sister I'd take her to see it this weekend.
3) Gotta be at work at 7:00 tomorrow.
4) Am really more of a trekkie anyway.

When I think about it, I've never actually seen a midnight showing of Star Wars. I saw Episode I the day after opening day, because I was dating a guy who couldn't fit opening into his schedule. I saw Episode II on opening day, but there were no midnight showings in Pittsburg Kansas (go figure) so I waited until that night.

I saw Lord of the Rings (I and III) at midnight, and let me tell you, midnight showings SUCK when you've got a 10 hour a day desk job that you have to stay awake for, and you can't take vacation because they're starting EMI tests.
