baby teeth

Two weeks ago I posted about how Josie was being a whiny little pill, a few of you asked if she was teething and I was like "nahhhh... four month old c'mon."

But she's got teeth.

You can barely see them, but I felt them today. I was letting her chew on my finger because that's one of her favorite things to do and felt something tiny and sharp in there. Marc felt them too. We kinda pried her mouth open (which she didn't like) and there were two tiny white spots in the middle of her gums on the bottom.

I told her that I was happy for her, that this was the first step into a lifetime of omnivore happiness. We get to eat steak, and corn-on-the-cob, and peanut brittle! It's just wonderful. Of course it'll take a few more teeth for her to get there, and a digestive system mature enough to handle it all, but it's going to happen!

So that's two milestones in a very short span of time, because just last week she perfected rolling over to her tummy, I think. I took this video, never posted it here but check it:

Current age: 18 weeks (4.2 months)
