It's monday morning, a time when most people are not
thinking about alcohol, but I am because today I've officially made it two weeks without drinking. I hung out with a lot of drinking people. Was severely tempted to drink... brought a bottle of wine to a dinner party, for example, and didn't get to try my own wine. Ate a wonderful hamburger at a bar that would have gone great with a beer, but had ice tea instead. But for two weeks, there wasn't any weird drama, I didn't have to worry about getting my car home, and I still had fun, sang karaoke, played with my friends.
I'm still making it a goal to not get drunk. Obviously there are occasions, like mikey's halloween party at the end of the month, that demand it, but for just general time out with friends I'll have a one drink maximum.
Sobriety was a good experience for me. So with that...
