work and school and other work

drove around town last night for three hours hanging up posters with midworldmisfit. technically, I guess I didn't need to draft someone's help to hang up posters, but the job would have been boring and crappy as hell if I'd been alone all that time, so it it worked out really well. plus I had someone to read off addresses because I couldn't keep numbers in my head for shite.

I got home and felt dead tired, like I hadn't slept in days. i haven't gotten a whole lot of sleep in the past week. I've had election work to do... working on candidate profiles and all that stuff... and major class work.

our professor doesn't believe in allowing time to study for tests. we have one november 1st and homework is always due on mondays, so he's just laying it on as usual. and the homework is for next chapter, so it doesn't help me study for the test on this chapter. everyone whines, bitches and complains but he's just like, "Homework is always due on Monday, that's the grading system. This assignment is very simple." He says that about all the assignments, they're all very simple, the whole class is very simple, the tests are very simple... we're all like, "Yeah, if you're a PhD and you've been teaching differential equations for 15 years or whatever, it's gonna be simple. For us, not so much."

he just doesn't relate. i hate professors who don't try to relate. and i hate homework that's due on an exam date!

but I digress... I went to bed at 9:30 which is insane. I didn't think i'd actually go to sleep, I just wanted to lie down, so I did, then I turned out the light, and that's all I remember.

Then I woke up at 3 a.m. and can't get back to sleep. I'm cursed in the sleep department, it seems.
