wax on, wax off

I applied to advertise for Google AdWords, and was rejected on the grounds of site content. Received an e-mail from google stating that spacefem.com contains one of the following:

* Excessive profanity
* Hate, violence, racial intolerance, or advocate against any individual, group, or organization
* Hacking/cracking content
* Drugs and drug paraphernalia
* Pornography
* Gambling or casino-related content
* Incentives of any kind for users to click on ads

In a way it's kinda cool... you know what they say about how all good books are on a banned books list somewhere? But I'm kinda dumbfounded too... I mean, what did they find? Does my site really advocate hate? I think that's the one I'm closest too, although there is profanity I wouldn't call it "excessive". Oh well.

In other news, most of you were filtered from yesterday's entry so you won't hear what happened to my car, and you should feel happy that you missed it because it was a very, very angry journal entry. But I am pleased to report that the bug/tar/tree sap remover stuff I bought seems to work okay on the residue... I got a little section of the roof done last night and will continue this evening on the rest. I wanted to start small to make sure it wouldn't take my paint off too... it's a precious commodity. Takes a long time to rub that stuff in, but hey, I get to bond with my car some more. Still not sure to do about the egg. It's off now and the clearcoat isn't too effected but from what I've heard, that's a chemical reaction that sets in with time. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed. I'm a little more calm now but still pretty upset.

Oh well. As my friend who's a former marine says, "At least we're not being shot at." Just puts it all in perspective.

In other, other news I bought this CD last week... "Women of Spirit" compiled by Putumayo. It's excellent and I highly recommend it. Will have to write a sparkling review on my profane, hateful website :)
