a day by myself

Days to do nothing! Who could have imagined? Well - I woke up at 9 this morning and got the rest of my scrubby residents checked out of here. That part went well. Then I did some code work on my website, I'm having plans for things like that. Then I looked long and hard at the piles of papers sitting around my room and decided today was the day: no one was around to bother me, I had no plans, I was going to tackle the organizational crisis plaguing me for two years.

I now have all my college assignments, handouts, tests, etc. in three ring binders labeled on the side in chronological order. I feel very good about this, better than I probably should, and very organized. Also finished my door decs for next semester and made a stack of papers to recycle. While this happened, I watched two Lifetime Original Movies on TV, which wasn't as bad as you might think, there really wasn't anything on.

I'm going to take Dave out for mexican food (this dinner sponsored by Book Buyback at the campus bookstore). We had a lot of bonding time last night which was nice (actually, we watched two hours of Star Trek the Next Generation and talked until 2 a.m.) but it's also cool to know that the one I'm with is of doing his own thing today and I'm off doing my own thing and we're both very happy doing that. It's nice. The majority of our time is still spent apart and that's how we're happiest - ah.

Did not learn Perl, wash my hair, or do a yoga tape, so I guess I'm a failure in that respect, but the night isn't over yet either.

Other news: and expire today I think, and I just bought them a month ago so that was short lived. But I'm not in the mood to spend $45 on domain registration, I just need really, so I guess if anybody wants to be mean you can buy them up and slander me with them.
