busy week, SWE

I had a million meetings happen, most of which I felt like I was charge of. arg- stress. Today was the Society of Women Engineers meeting - it was kind of depressing in that only one person I didn't already know came. This after spending three hours in the sun at the activity fair working the SWE table, trying to convince elementary education majors they were destined for something greater. Again, 0 sign-ups. I'm on a quest now to discover why women aren't going into tech fields; it's like they don't want to push themselves, or their brains just don't work like engineer brains. Are we that mis-wired?

Also considering getting a masters next year IO work. the job force is scary after what happened this summer - I've decided if I don't get a job I really want, I'm not going.
