Pilot school was super-fun tonight, I got out our "flight computers" and spun the little disks around and charted courses to exotic destinations like Oklahoma. Flight computers aren't really computers, they're most like fancy sliderules. But we were proud. And we figured out how to compensate for wind speed and compass variation and all that. I still haven't decided if I'm going to get my pilot's license. Every time I talk to someone about it, they seem so enthused it makes me want to go for it just because it looks cool.
I keep reading these journals of people buried in snow on the east coast... it's so not fair! It didn't snow here. It rained all day today, on my new windshield, yes. But rain isn't fun.
