C'mon, if you're a friend of mine, you have to find it a little funny.

Perhaps it's really a sign that no men are allowed. Since you'd have it over your chest, the message becomes clear ;)

*warped thought warning*

You know, it could also work both ways. Men could wear it to fend off other interested males...

I think it's offensive. I think if someone posted the same apron with a no women sign, people would be freaking out. I don't understand why being a militant feminist means putting men down or jokes like this. But it's commonly accepted that the two go hand in hand. This is why, unfortunately, I can't call myself a feminist, because this has become the common interpretation of the word. But I prefer egalitarian anyway.

Well, I wouldn't freak out about a no women apron because it just wouldn't be fair. promise!

I respect your opinion. And you're right, it is kinda mean and degrading to the general population of men and the women who like them. But the whole concept of militant feminism isn't really supposed to be taken seriously... the feminist movement as a whole never called for violence, it just wasn't ever that big of a deal.

You certainly don't have to be militant to be a feminist. But when I realized I wasn't the only one who could have a laugh about it, I went ahead with lots of the stuff on my website you see today. It's all in good fun. When I'm around my friends, we put one another down for fun. I've been putting down my sister since we could talk. My boyfriend was immune. It's just kinda who I am.
